Welcome to my Tech Journal
For those of you who do not yet know, I am going back to school this year at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. Back to school, NOT BACK to Tech. My first time there.
I will be playing in the Jazz Band, Singing in the Tech Choir, and...marching in the Tech Bulldog Marching Band...in full uniform...as a student...for the entire season...at 62 years of age. Yeah, I know...just a little crazy. Ok, a LOT crazy!
This has been on my Bucket List for the last 5 years. I was looking to do it at ULM six years ago and decided to take the Leesville Band Director job instead. Since my retirement from teaching over a year ago, I have missed the music and the kids terribly. As much as I love marching band I thought this would be a perfect way to express it.
